Hi everyone!
I hope u all had a great easter! I did. First I did my first 5km race on saturday morning while my mom watched the boys. Than we had a turkey dinner which was really yummy and complete with pie! Sunday is when the bunny comes and he went all out! Paul got toys and slippers pjs and chocolate. Daniel got two outfits slippers and a stuffed bunny. They did pretty well!!!! We didn't do anything too exciting sunday but watched a marathon of Big bang theory on tv. It rocked! I love that show!
My next goal is to do a 10k race. It involves chocolate somehow but I'm pretty excited about it. It's at the end of august so I figure that's lots of time to get prepared to do it! I'm kinda liking this stuff...it gives me a break from my kids and it's also really healthy for me! So win-win.
My website is doing okay. Still haven't made any money from it yet, but I did do some advertising and I believe they are sending like 120 visitors to my site an hour so that's pretty cool. Probably will take about 3.5 days...so I'm hoping that I can start making some money soon!!!
I am really liking being on maternity leave! I don't wanna go back to work. Luckily, I still have 7 months left of it! :)
that's it for now. :)

Hi everyone! So today I am just hanging out with my boys at home. Tomorrow Chris has the day off because of easter so that rocks! I like having him home. He is such a good father it's incredible! Sometimes even I'm almost jelous about the kind of dad he is. lol But all things aside it's nice having the help when he's home. :) Their money came in so today so we are going to go to walmart. this is weird. I have no idea why this thing is being so weird! It's hard to write...I wonder if it is going to save this way too? What a weird blog thing! Anyways, every month when their 'baby bonus' thing comes in, we always go to walmart to spend their money for everything they need for the month. Diapers, clothes etc. This month we also have to get easter stuff! (as the bunny must come). lol Paul is at an age now that he is going to really like this so we had better get easter baskets and things. He's 4 almost (in june) so he's going to understand. I'm pretty excited about it. I think Daniel will just get formula and maybe an outfit for easter as he's a baby. I want to get Paul a bunny but otherwise, I think maybe an outfit, pjs or a truck would be sufficient. lol anyways that is all for now!

hmmm
I wonder if anyone reads this anymore....
Not much is happening around here...visited with my work friend this morning. We had coffee. It was nice to get out, especially with easter just around the corner and everything.

cool news.
Hi all.
Well, I am down 39 pounds since giving birth to my second child!!! It's crazy how well I am doing! I am very pleased that I'm finally dropping some weight...it seems this last month I haven't done very well, but it seems to be getting better now. :) I'm keeping track of my food and my exercise on http://www.myfitnesspal.com/. it's an amazing site and I really LOVE it!!!!
It really makes me stop and think about what I'm going to eat and sometimes I even decide it's not worth it...like muffins..for example. lol It does take some advanced planning though to know what I am going to have for certain meals so I have something to work around.
Anyways, this weekend I am doing my very first 5km walk for a local organization. I'm looking forward to it. My mom is coming down to watch the boys while Chris and I do it! It's very exciting! Than we are making our easter turkey dinner. My sister is even coming down to do the walk with me. Isn't that great? We are really close, she and I. Being that we don't see each other all that much, it's a big deal whenever we do get together. :)
Well that is all for now. Leave a note if u like.

Hi there!
Long time no write. So much has happened since I last wrote! I have another little boy, whom we named Daniel. He was born just before christmas this past year and he's almost 4 months old already! So as a result of my having two boys, I decided to start a website working with amazon.com. It's been really fun so far. It is called, http://www.miracleofsons.com/ if you are interested in checking it out. The idea behind it is that it has everything anyone would want for their little boy, either as a son, or just a special boy in their lives. We offer things from toddlerhood to teenagehood.
Anyways, I hope there are people still reading this!!!!

tattoos
Hi World,
So, i am getting my tattoo done! I am so excited! It's one I have wanted for quite some time. Basically here is a pic of what I am working with...okay, so it won't let me do it...anyways, basically it says, "paul" "june 4" and has his chinese zodiac sign in between. It's really nice. I feel like paul deserves to have his own tattoo.
:)
Hopefully I can get a pic on here when it's done. I'm very excited about it. i will keep u posted.

finally got my password
Hi.
totally forgot my password for this thing...so now I have it all straightened out. Things have been good. Paul is 2 now. He's walking, talking somewhat and getting into everything. He's wonderful and I am so blessed to have him in my life. :)
So on other news, we have been ttc our second child for over a year now with no success. I'm not really upset about it...I am not even 100% sure I want another child...I mean, okay, I know that I *do* want another one someday, I'm just not sure if *now* is the right time, u know? I'm not sure if I'm really a good mom anyways..I mean I don't interact with Paul every second of his waking day and I don't get on the floor all time and play with him. Truth be told...I don't get on the floor with him more than maybe once per day for a half hour or so at most. I know my son is a happy go lucky little man and I love him to death. But I am not sure I can actually handle two kids 3 years apart basically, and be okay by myself. It's not like Chris will be home any more than he already is...so it's going to be upto me basically to do this on my own. I'm not sure I can do it...and do it well.
Then there are days that I want three kids....and think I can do it.
I know that when I get pregnant it will be the right time and things will fall into place. I just don't want to do something I might regret, one way or another. I'm not sure I can afford another child....and what about attention....I don't know I will be able to give our second child as much attention as our first, and I know that by having two, our second child won't have the same kind of one on one attenion that paul got in her first years of life like her big brother got...and I already feel guilty about that...and I don't even have her yet.
Plus, girls are way harder to raise than boys.....I dunno.
any thoughts?????

Big World
Hi.
there is this kid show called "its a big world" on tv. Paul just loves it...It has animals and it's on just after sesame street...he really only pays attention to the opening music of all shows but its' so funny to watch how it catches his attention.
So, things are going alright here. I only have to work one day this week which is nice. I appreciate the time off. My birthday was a bit disappointing...but Chris is trying to redeem himself in my eyes...so he bought me season 1 of friends b/c I said I wanted to start collecting them, and that was my gift from paul. Chris gave me a gift certificate for a manicure adn pedicure. I'm pretty excited about that. Then this weekend coming up, Chris and I are going out for dinner and a movie of MY choice. Very exciting. Jonathan and Jordan are coming over for the weekend to watch paul while we go out...not sure why they have to be here the whole weekend but whatever, I'm excited and I like those two...so it's all good :)
Paul is almost walking! I mean he is taking steps alone on his own...but only a few at a time...but it's a start and we are SOOO proud of our little man. He's so smart!
Anyways, that's my news...Leave a note if u want.

what a weird night
Hellos world
SO weird night last night. I still didn't sleep all that well, however, it still ended up being better than I have slept in a week...haha. Regardless, I went to bed around 10:30pm. I woke up at midnight, and Chris was just coming to bed but Paul was crying so Chris went to check on him. Afew minutes later, Chris asked me to come look at something...and when I did...poor Paul had vomited what looked like juice all over his sheets and pjs :( poor thing. We felt awful, bc we didn't hear Paul do that. Regardless, Chris changed the bedding and I put new pjs on paul and we cuddled till the bed was done. poor guy. He was a bit scared I think. What we think happeend, was Chris said when he went in, Paul had had a huge BM (which he'd been trying to take all day). So that smell had overpowered the room so chris didn't see or smell the vomit at first. Regardless, we think that Paul strained so hard to have that Bm that he vomited. (he's done it before...not at night, but he has done it before).
So, we get him all ready and settled back into bed and that's fine. Chris and I are then in bed and I'm trying to sleep and Chris is coughing and coughing because he forgot to take his medicine before bed so after an hour, he decides to finally go and get the medicine. He's gone for quite some time, and when he comes back, I ask if he's okay, and he tells me he was vomiting :( So, I'm trying to figure out what it was that they ate that I didn't eat...haha. Chris feels that his was due to the lots of coughing....bc he said he felt fine now...so whatever....
It took me a while to get to sleep after that...but I did manage it. Everyone slept fine after that. This morning, Chris went off to work and I got paul dressed and then took his sheets downstairs to wash them and things...so he's all set. Paul's eaten just fine today and is playing normal and what have u...so I think all is well in that dept.
:)
I have to run...I am not sure what paul is getting into but it sounds questionable....

1:30am...and counting
Well, I am STILL awake. Not sure for how much longer though....gah. I am soooo tired. Chris has been in bed since 11:30pm. I've watched family guy 3 episodes and married with children. Fun times. I just wrote a huge long thing, and it just deleated on me...I am sooo pissed. gah. I am hoping to stay up till between 2 and 3am. That's probably the best I am going to do. Luckily, my mom, whom I love to pieces, is coming over to watch paul while I sleep. I love her. I have no idea how people do awake night shifts. My mom and FIL did it for years...and it was fine for them at the time....but I just don't do that. This is a first for me...and will probably be my last agreeable night shift that I ever do awake. I am suppose to work from 8pm tomorrow to noon on sunday. awake. (did I mention that already?). haha.
Anyways, that's my news...I realize I am starting NOT to make any sense..so I will finish this now...before I say something weird. lol

Dentist visits are EVIL....
Hello fellow followers.
I just got back from my dentist appointment to get my front teeth filled finally after having a growing cavity for some time. Don't care ot write how long, but long enough. haha. Regardless, I this is the first time I have gone to the dentist in which they put freezing in me and THEN asked me to get an x-ray done...it's an experience getting an xray done with ur mouth frozen. I highly suggest u try it. haha.
during my dental experience, I got to hear all about a really nice 5 day cruise my dentist had that left Florida or something that was cost effective if u didn't drink alcohol. lol (oh and he didn't even get motion sickness! how charming). My appointment lasted a glorious hour and a half with me literally clutching the sides of the chair in a death grip that left my hands almost incompaisitated for quite some time afterwards. haha.
Also, this is the first time in my adult life that I had to have a dental dam put in to fix cavities. I hate this said dam. It's evil in the first degree. The dentist put something on the roof of my mouth to I guess hold said dental dam that literally DUG into the roof of my mouth. It remains quite sore after all these hours...uurgh. AND something with the freezing has affected the inside of my nose. ...it hurts...as IF! *i know*
I have to go back in TWO weeks approximately, to get another hour and a half of torture done. Should be fun....always charming going there....haha!
Now, I am sending my mom thoughts adn good vibes as she sees the eye doctor so she won't have to get glasses!!!!!!! *crosses fingers for her continued good fortune of seeing well*******
That's all my news at present....

Patience
Hello world,
I used to think that I had patience. I thought it was even one of my strong suits. I have come to discover, since having a child...that I do NOT have much patience. Definately NOT a strong suit of mine 'tis sad really...I feel bad for my hubby and son, when I come home from work and snap at my husband and get upset when my son does things that I don't find appropriate, yet forgetting that he IS just 19 months old...kids will be kids...I expect too much. I know this.
Patience....I really need to work on this....or my son will grow up remembering his mom doing nothing but yelling over every little thing that in the big picture means nothing. I mean, who really is going to care that there is a sink full of dishes? who is really going to care if my son's toys are all over the place and he eats a bit later than he normally does? I seriously need a reality check. I want my baby to love me when he grows up and to want to spend time with me when he grows up....I worry that I am not providing that....b/c I focus so much on all the other things then taking the time to play wiht my son...dishes can wait. all things can wait so I am around to see my son do all those great things....
Patience is really a virtue.

just for fun
Okay, so I saw u can upload videos on here, so I'm trying to do it...let me know if it works or not. If it does, u will see Paul watching sesame street...he was doing fun stuff prior to me starting to tape, and of course, he didn't do anything super exciting in this video but it was funny how he always pays attention to songs more than the actual shows...hehe.
enjoy!

Monday madness
Hello world!
It's monday. I'm not feeling super great...I think I have the startings of a cold coming on...but not sure either...it's all in my throat and chest and just a tad in my nose...My son is not feeling well either...poor little guy. childrens tylanol is amazing. I love the stuff for him. I am currently letting him have a pj day. It's rare for me to allow him to have one...Chris does it with him on weekends that he's home but I always make him get dressed for the day, but because he's not feeling super great, I thought it would be a nice treat.
He's currently watching "big big world" on tv and trying to get into our new cupboard that houses things...haha. Chris is at work and reports that the ppl who got Paul's haircut are the ones responsible for getting paul sick...bastards :P lol
I am currently waiting for the mail to come. I am expecting some kind of box thingy from the cable company. I have to sign for it so I am home. fun times. actually, I am kinda excited about it...OH..do u know we have teletoon retro now! it's awsome. we watched "smurfs" and "bugs bunny" and "scooby doo" yesterday. very cool :)
Anyways, that's my news.....Leave a note if u wish :)

Hello People

It's sunday today. Chris and I got our things put together that we bought yesterday. They look wonderful. The living room looks a bit more grown up now. there are a few things I still need to take care of, in terms of making it look better but they don't cost any money so that rocks all the socks.
Paul may be getting sick...I am upset that he may be getting sick...I know its not his fault and I know there isn't anything I can do about it, but I am still upset regardless. I love my little guy and i don't like seeing him uncomfortable. poor little guy. It probably explains why he was up so late last night.
Jonathan and Doug left right after they got everything put together...which for some reason unknown to me, chris didn't catch that part and was quite upset that they left. He wanted to spend some time with them afterwards...but whatever. I didn't mind them being gone. I got the sense that Doug wasn't all that interested in being here anyways...he really wasn't into it....that's the feeling I got anyways.
I still have my mcfreezy thingy from McD's that I haven't eaten yet...it's smartee..I may havfe that in a minute...I'm getting snackish and I have to have it before paul wakes up...or I won't get any..haha.
Anyways, I have nothing interesting to post...so here are some pics :)

Building things are FUN
So, we have returned from our Ikea outing today. It was fun times....lots of crowds and things. We met Doug and Jonathan there and they helped us load and unload our parcils. Now, they are busy putting together and entertainment thingy that appears to be difficult. Oh well..it keeps them out of my hair..haha. Paul is napping. He was soooo good shopping. Then Doug took us all out for lunch which was very yummy. Paul ate about a quarter of his meal, but that's alright.
I'm glad to be off today....normally, I work most weekends, but I have every 4th weekend off, and this just happens to be one of them. Plus, it's a nice day today which is awsome...puts my mood up.
I am joining curves. I think i am going on monday or tuesday...depending to actually sign up. It should be fun. :)
I'm very excited.
that is all :)

Welcome
Welcome everyone to my journal.
Everyone may be wanting to know about me....so lets see....
I'm a mommy to a wonderful little man, named Paul. He's almost 2 years old. He was named after my father who passed away a few years ago. He's a wonderfully compassionate, patient, wonderful little guy and he's my world. I'm a wife to my highschool sweetheart, Chris. We've been together for over 11 years now and married for 6. I love him very much.
I work outside the home part time and I love the break between being both a mommy and a career woman.
That's all for now..Enjoy!
