Patience

Hello world,

I used to think that I had patience. I thought it was even one of my strong suits. I have come to discover, since having a child...that I do NOT have much patience. Definately NOT a strong suit of mine 'tis sad really...I feel bad for my hubby and son, when I come home from work and snap at my husband and get upset when my son does things that I don't find appropriate, yet forgetting that he IS just 19 months old...kids will be kids...I expect too much. I know this.

Patience....I really need to work on this....or my son will grow up remembering his mom doing nothing but yelling over every little thing that in the big picture means nothing. I mean, who really is going to care that there is a sink full of dishes? who is really going to care if my son's toys are all over the place and he eats a bit later than he normally does? I seriously need a reality check. I want my baby to love me when he grows up and to want to spend time with me when he grows up....I worry that I am not providing that....b/c I focus so much on all the other things then taking the time to play wiht my son...dishes can wait. all things can wait so I am around to see my son do all those great things....

Patience is really a virtue.

Okay, so I saw u can upload videos on here, so I'm trying to do it...let me know if it works or not. If it does, u will see Paul watching sesame street...he was doing fun stuff prior to me starting to tape, and of course, he didn't do anything super exciting in this video but it was funny how he always pays attention to songs more than the actual shows...hehe.

Monday madness

Hello world!

It's monday. I'm not feeling super great...I think I have the startings of a cold coming on...but not sure either...it's all in my throat and chest and just a tad in my nose...My son is not feeling well either...poor little guy. childrens tylanol is amazing. I love the stuff for him. I am currently letting him have a pj day. It's rare for me to allow him to have one...Chris does it with him on weekends that he's home but I always make him get dressed for the day, but because he's not feeling super great, I thought it would be a nice treat.

He's currently watching "big big world" on tv and trying to get into our new cupboard that houses things...haha. Chris is at work and reports that the ppl who got Paul's haircut are the ones responsible for getting paul sick...bastards :P lol

I am currently waiting for the mail to come. I am expecting some kind of box thingy from the cable company. I have to sign for it so I am home. fun times. actually, I am kinda excited about it...OH..do u know we have teletoon retro now! it's awsome. we watched "smurfs" and "bugs bunny" and "scooby doo" yesterday. very cool :)

Hello People

It's sunday today. Chris and I got our things put together that we bought yesterday. They look wonderful. The living room looks a bit more grown up now. there are a few things I still need to take care of, in terms of making it look better but they don't cost any money so that rocks all the socks.

Paul may be getting sick...I am upset that he may be getting sick...I know its not his fault and I know there isn't anything I can do about it, but I am still upset regardless. I love my little guy and i don't like seeing him uncomfortable. poor little guy. It probably explains why he was up so late last night.

Jonathan and Doug left right after they got everything put together...which for some reason unknown to me, chris didn't catch that part and was quite upset that they left. He wanted to spend some time with them afterwards...but whatever. I didn't mind them being gone. I got the sense that Doug wasn't all that interested in being here anyways...he really wasn't into it....that's the feeling I got anyways.

I still have my mcfreezy thingy from McD's that I haven't eaten yet...it's smartee..I may havfe that in a minute...I'm getting snackish and I have to have it before paul wakes up...or I won't get any..haha.

Anyways, I have nothing interesting to post...so here are some pics :)

Building things are FUN

So, we have returned from our Ikea outing today. It was fun times....lots of crowds and things. We met Doug and Jonathan there and they helped us load and unload our parcils. Now, they are busy putting together and entertainment thingy that appears to be difficult. Oh well..it keeps them out of my hair..haha. Paul is napping. He was soooo good shopping. Then Doug took us all out for lunch which was very yummy. Paul ate about a quarter of his meal, but that's alright.

I'm glad to be off today....normally, I work most weekends, but I have every 4th weekend off, and this just happens to be one of them. Plus, it's a nice day today which is awsome...puts my mood up.

I am joining curves. I think i am going on monday or tuesday...depending to actually sign up. It should be fun. :)

I'm very excited.

Welcome everyone to my journal.

Everyone may be wanting to know about me....so lets see....

I'm a mommy to a wonderful little man, named Paul. He's almost 2 years old. He was named after my father who passed away a few years ago. He's a wonderfully compassionate, patient, wonderful little guy and he's my world. I'm a wife to my highschool sweetheart, Chris. We've been together for over 11 years now and married for 6. I love him very much.

I work outside the home part time and I love the break between being both a mommy and a career woman.
